Of interest to marine enthusiasts is the Whale Interpretive Centre located on the broadwalk : Their objective is ” to provide information to the public for increased awareness of the biology, habitat needs and threats to killer whales, fin whales, humpback whales and sea otters as well as other local marine mammals.”  killerwhalecentre.org

At the Telegraph Cove Resort there is The Killer Whale Cafe  featuring West Coast cuisine with fish and seafood as the specialty.  Next to the office is Sallys Food Bar and The Cove Coffee Company services freshly baked goods, pizzas , breakfast goods as well as a well stocked general store and liquor store.  There is also clean showers and washroom facilities and whilst ashore,  a tour of one of the last broadwalk settlements left on Vancouver Island is highly recommended.  telegraphcoveresort.com
