All bareboat charter bookings are subject to the approval of a qualified boating resume approved by our marine insurance underwriters.

Upon approval of a qualified bareboat charter resume, a 35% deposit is required to confirm your booking and the remaining balance is due 60-days prior to boarding.


All prices are in Canadian Dollars and are subject to 12% Tax (7% Provincial tax & 5% Federal tax)

What’s included?

All our weekly charters include:

  • All essential domestic inventory, including a barbeque, dinghy and outboard
  • Transport Canada required safety and navigation equipment
  • Full bedding: duvets, pillows, linen and towels (sleeping bags available upon request)
  • Basic galley/head essentials to get you started:  garbage bags, paper towel, aluminium foil, toilet paper, basic cleaning supplies including BC Ministry of Health approved VIPER disinfectant
  • Starter pack of Tea & Coffee

Regrettably, Due to COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions, we are unable to offer transfer service or use of a courtesy vehicle, until further notice.

  • Pre-paid transfer service available from a Nanaimo arrival Location back to our charter base:
    • Harbour Air or Sea Air Seaplane $10.00/transfer
    • Helijet Helicopter $15.00/transfer
    • Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
    • Duke Point Ferry terminal $30.00/transfer or,
    • YCD Nanaimo Cassidy Airport $30.00/transfer
  • Parking is available on-site whilst you are out on charter at $20.00/week

Additional Equipment for Hire*:

  • Crab traps $50.00/week ~ trap, 150′ of line, bait and cooking pot
  • Prawn traps $75.00/week ~ trap, 300′ of line, bait and cooking pot
  • Cruising Chute (available for some vessels)
    • Beneteau 33′, Beneteau 40′, Dufour 385′, Hanse 400, Beneteau 50′: $150.00/week
    • Lagoon 42 Catamaran ‘Water Dragon’ & ‘Firecat’: “Code 0” $350.00/week
  • Kayaks: single/double $150.00/week
  • Stand Up Paddleboards $200.00/week

*Requests for these items form part of your final booking paperwork and must be ordered ahead of time.
*Fishing licence must be purchased prior to the hiring of fishing equipment and is needed for crab and prawn traps

The license can be obtained prior to you leaving for your charter and is done online at Fishing Licence Application Website

For your added convenience, you may wish to take advantage of the option to pre-board your charter boat from 14:00, on the day prior to your first day of sailing!*

Spend your time sailing not food shopping!  Contact us for more information and we can shop and stock the boat for you, prior to your arrival.

An Instructional Skipper can be contracted for the first day, few days or the duration of your charter aboard both power or sailboats! As all of our contracted skippers are insured, certified and accredited by our local and international sailing associations, contact us to discuss how you can achieve a sailing or powerboating certification during your vacation.

Or, a tailor-made cruise can be arranged to suit you and your group and provide instruction at all levels. Learn while you sail, and bring the whole family along!

As a bareboat charter, reserve your boat of choice by completing an online boating resume; confirm your booking with a 35% deposit – balance due 60 days before your charter start date.
Payments can be made by email transfer, regular bank transfer, cash, debit, or cheque (in Canadian funds)

If for some reason you need to cancel your booking with us, the following conditions will apply:

      • 89 days or more before departure date: refund of deposit – less administration fee ($350.00 CAD plus applicable taxes and transfer fees)
      • 89-60 days before departure: a charge of 25% of the total charter fee will apply (plus applicable taxes)
      • Less than 60 days before departure: no refund
      • A cancellation/change of booking fee may apply to all bookings changed or cancelled
We strongly suggest that all of our guests consider the purchase of travel insurance for protection against cancellation penalties and many other unforeseeable circumstances such as an emergency medical evacuation.
