Port McNeill, Vancouver Island North’s second-largest community, is known by the cruising yachtsmen as the gateway to The Broughtons.  This stop has everything you need to prepare for an adventure to The Broughtons.  A regional airport plus a float plane service from Vancouver and Seattle as well as being serviced by BC Ferries, (to Alert Bay and Sointula Harbour) makes this an ideal rendezvous centre.  A great place to take in a whale watching tour if time allows

There are 2 marinas from which to choose:

Port McNeill Harbour Marina is on a first come, first serve basis and centrally located down town.

Ashore in the bustling town is a well stocked supermarket, numerous restaurants and a brewery
