Located on the North shore of Vancouver Island, Kelsey Bay provides protection from the winds in the Strait. Washrooms, showers and laundry facilities are available. This Bay gives an excellent view of Johnson Strait and quite possibly you will spot Orcas at play as this is one of their favourite feeding areas.
The entrance to Kelsey Bay Marina must be handled with care as there is a strong cross current at the ebb. There is a floating breakwater that seems quite hap-hazard as it is tenuously coupled to the shore from the stbd marker buoy. On the government dock in the bay there is power and water but no fuel
