VISIT THE CHARMING SEASIDE VILLAGE Surrounded by a beautiful valley, and the largest glacier on Vancouver Island, the charming seaside village of Comox is located on the peninsula in the Georgia Strait on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island. The peninsula naturally forms Comox Harbour. Comox is a seaside location with a mountainous horizon and fertile farmlands in the valley. Comox is known for the nearby Strathcona Provincial Park which is the oldest park on Vancouver Island. Locally it is famous for having the largest glacier on Vancouver Island and Della Falls is eight times higher than Niagara making it the highest falls in Canada. There are roughly 13,000 people living in Comox. Comox is an activity haven with beaches, swimming, fishing, ocean kayaking, hiking, biking, diving, golfing and a driving tour. But it is also known as a laid back town.
