After taking lessons through NYC I was eligible to charter on my own for the first time. I brought three totally novice friends. After one day with a fantastic instructor (Barry) we were off on our own for 6 more days. Perfect boat, very well equipped. Many extras provided.. charts, compass, binoculars..great service from pickup to drop off. Really appreciate the van to get supplies.
We were traveling along Sunshine Coast this year, and this was magnificent trip. Very nice and friendly stuff, we got lot of help both with trip planning and once we arrived.
We already booked the boat for next year, coming for Desolation sound.
This was my first charter with NYC. I thought it was first class service. Ian was knowledgeable and gave a good orientation with the 34' power boat we chartered for a week to the Gulf Islands. We came over on the ferry from Vancouver, they picked us up and loaned us one company vehicle to pick up our supplies. Charts were current, boat was clean and in top condition. We will use them again.
