Advanced (Coastal Skipper) Sail - Cruise and Learn Course to Desolation Sound

Desolation Sound Provincial Park is known as the most beautiful cruising ground in British Columbia, and rated as one of the premier sailing areas in the world. This unforgettable Marine Park is the largest in BC.  Advanced your sailing skills, both day and night, navigate and cruise in all weather to the most spectacular area that BC has to offer.

Prerequisite:
Basic Cruising, Intermediate Cruising and Coastal Navigation standards
 Red Cross or St. John Ambulance emergency first aid certificate
 VHF radio certificate (Radio Operator’s Restricted Certificate – Maritime Voluntary

Note: To maximize the likelihood of successfully completing the Advance Cruising Standard, a student should have:

1. Experience as a skipper equivalent to at least two seasons or 20 days of cruising, and
2. Applied the knowledge and practiced the skills in the Intermediate Cruising and Coastal Navigation standards.

Course fee $1499.00 (per person) +tax
